UK investment wanted by Kuwait

When it comes to new frontiers in foreign investments, especially those concerned with property matters, the Middle East has been leading the way with innovative projects for the past decade.

At the recent opening of the Kuwaiti-British business forum, the Kuwaiti Minister of Finance, Nayef Al-Hajraf, made a significant call on British based companies and individual investors alike to take an interest in the various different development projects currently underway.

The minister went on to highlight the way in which British involvement has always been welcomed in his own country in particular, as well as the way that the development plan which is now firmly in place makes many high class opportunities available.

The state visit by His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to the UK is just one of the initiatives involved in the ongoing promotion of mutual investment openings between the two countries.

It was singled out by the Kuwaiti minister as a perfect example to draw attention to the fact that there has never been a better time for co-operation between partners based in both locations.

Kuwait historically and currently holds a unique position, both geographical and cultural, which enables it to provide an important link for investors looking to reach neighbouring countries.

The 'Kuwait Investment Office' has been successfully helping to initiate such projects since its establishment over 60 years ago.

The forum proved to be a huge success with a large number of prominent figures from various business sectors of both countries in attendance and an extremely positive feedback from all concerned.
