If you are thinking of investing in a property then something in Kenya may tempts you. Those with foreign currency exchange requirements to spend may find that tourists in Kenya as rose by 40%.

Kenya Tourist Board UK director Angie Sloan stated the country has plenty to offer visitors, regardless of if they would prefer to stay in built-up areas or enjoy the great outdoors.

"Whether you are looking for a cultural city experience, world-class diving, unique wildlife safaris or lush rainforest to explore, Kenya's coast has it all," she said.

Those with an interest in sports may also find plenty to offer, including the Leisure Lodge Beach and Golf Resort in Diani Beach, which Ms Sloan described as a "challenging 18-hole course" that is of "championship standard".

Figures released by the organisation recently indicated that in January this year, arrivals by tourists to the country had increased by 40 per cent in comparison to those seen in the first month of 2010, something that may encourage people to purchase a second home in Kenya.
